Full description from the funder
Deadline as stated by the funder: "The application portal will open Thursday, October 1, 2026, and close Monday, December 7, 2026" Themed annual grants of $500 to $8,000 to Northeastern Pennsylvania nonprofits addressing community gaps in education, healthcare, housing, opportunity or support services; the 2026 theme is Protect and Preserve. The foundation homepage (luzernefoundation.org) says of this 2026 cycle "Emergency services organizations, technical and trade schools, and community colleges are especially encouraged to apply." but that sentence is not on the program page. luzfdn.org now 301-redirects to luzernefoundation.org (luzfdn.org/robots.txt returned 404; luzernefoundation.org/robots.txt has no disallows).
Homepage also lists a NorthPoint Community Partnership Grant for the Hazleton Area School District footprint (educational institutions eligible, deadline November 9, 2026) with no separate page found. Cycle: Annual with a new theme each year. 2026 portal open October 1 to December 7.
